Welcome to the new blog about the Rayjet laser engraver

Hi!

This is the first posting in this new Rayjet blog! This blog is thought to be a platform for those who want to share their experiences and show which applications they did with the Rayjet!

For the first steps I want to mention the Rayjet-Website http://www.rayjetlaser.com/ where you can find lots of application-videos and Sample-downloads. Check it out - there are also dates when and where you can get in contact with this new laser engraver!

So...have fun and get the success with Rayjet!
Looking forward to get in discussion with you!

have heard that it is super easy to work. Has anybody have experiences yet?

Yes, I have seen it at the VisCom Show in Paris in September. Really easy to use. Everything self-explaining even for unexperienced or first-time laser users.

I was there also, the software is extremely user-friendly and intuitive.

Would the Rayjet Laser be suitable to cut sheet mother of pearl to a specific shape and then engrave the hole in the wood to inset it in?

Thank you
Chad

I see it can engrave but the specs dont tell me how deep it can cut. I plan to cut acrylic. Can this cut acrylic?

Of course you can cut acrylic with the Rayjet! - Just have a look at this example here:
